This has nothing to do with business, but I need to vent so I will do it here.
Of course if you don’t want to read my little rant on something that has nothing to do with business you can read another one of my posts. The good thing about writing on a blog is that you have nearly unlimited space.
Anyway we (The Wife and I) purchased a brand new travel trailer from the RV show in early 2010. We love it and use it all the time.
We had some warranty issues and had them fixed – no problem. So I go out to the storage lot last week and what do I see:
A big crack in the linoleum!
Of course it is out of Warranty now so I will have to repair it myself.
Another reason this makes me mad is that I had a brand new trailer before this. It did the exact same thing, in the same spot. But it was under warranty.
They told me it was because they only glue down the perimeter, not the whole lino sheet. Because we get winters in this area that can go from -40 to + 55 at any time this causes problems.
So the manufacturers know about it but aren’t doing anything about it.
So that is what really makes me mad! Made in America. Not the workers fault. Bad management decisions. Isn’t that usually how it goes? How much would a couple of ounces of glue cost and to spread it on the whole floor? Ten bucks? Come on.
Anyway – rant over. Sorry about that. Back to business tomorrow.
Tim
